About Shea Flaherty
In a world that can often be overwhelming, I find solace and inspiration in the creative process of my artwork. Growing up, I enjoyed drawing and art classes, influenced by my parents who introduced me to live music and record stores filled with stacks of records and CDs. Attending concerts, I was captivated by the charisma of musicians on stage.
As I traveled more, my attention expanded to nature, wildlife, seasons, and people, each bringing different moods and lasting feelings. Graffiti art also intrigued me, with its various characters and letter styles sparking curiosity about the artists behind them.
These experiences continuously inspire my creative process. I enjoy creating art that reflects the vibrant energy of southwestern themes, the dynamic spirit of musicians in pop art, and the bold expressiveness of graffiti-inspired murals. My work encompasses original paintings, prints, and poster art, aiming to make art accessible to everyone. In addition, a portion of my proceeds supports animal shelters and environmental wildlife organizations, emphasizing my commitment to giving back to the community.
